What is I-O?

I-O, short for Intelligence of Origin, is the AI research core of Genesis 2 Project® (G2P). It is a purpose-built scientific intelligence designed to assist G2P researchers in modeling complex, high-dimensional data, identifying hidden patterns, and generating testable hypotheses. I-O is not a consumer AI or language model—it is a long-horizon research system built to support discovery.
How is I-O different from other AI systems?

Most AI systems are trained primarily on human-generated content such as text, images, or historical behavior. I-O is designed to learn from structured, real-world data—geometry, dynamics, environmental signals, and validated field observations. Its goal is not prediction or automation but insight and exploration.
Does Genesis 2 Project® study UAPs?

Genesis 2 Project® began with the scientific study of validated anomalous aerial data, applying forensic standards as a first step to ensure data integrity. While this work remains part of the organization’s research history, the broader focus is on what such data can teach us about physics, modeling, and intelligence—rather than on any single phenomenon.
Is the project affiliated with the U.S. government?

No. Genesis 2 Project® (G2P) is an independent organization. G2P's principals have career experience in U.S. government, national laboratories, or federal agencies, but G2P operates independently and is not a government program.
Who leads the Genesis 2 Project®?

The Genesis 2 Project® is led by a NDA-protected group of Principals and Confidential Advisors (career experts in science, security, and technology) who have all carried secret or top-secret clearances with the U.S. DoD, DoJ, DoE and/or CIA.
Dr. JC van Velkinburgh, a former Los Alamos National Laboratory biophysicist, and Debra LaPrevotte, a former FBI Special Agent and forensic scientist serve as the public-facing Data & Public Integrity Officers. Their combined backgrounds shape the project’s emphasis on data integrity, scientific rigor, and responsible disclosure.
Is this project about speculation or belief?
